Before joining Ridley & Hall in January 2026, Saniya graduated from the University of Leeds, where she studied LLB Law. Upon graduating, she worked as an Usher/Administrative Assistant at Leeds Crown Court Criminal Division, assisting in very serious criminal cases with offences ranging from sexual allegations, assault, GBH and murder, conducting jury trials and returning verdicts. Dealing with such serious matters before high-profile judges enabled Saniya to develop key communicative skills, pressure in fast-paced environments and procedural compliance.
Saniya has a strong commitment to client care and satisfaction as a result of working so closely with victims.
Saniya has now joined Ridley and Hall as a Care paralegal in the care and public law team, where she will be assisting in complex, sensitive children-related matters such as neglect, mental health issues, and alleged physical and/or sexual abuse of a child.
In her spare time, Saniya enjoys a wide range of hobbies such as exercising, learning piano, reading books, comics and spending time with friends and family.
