Maryam Razzaq is a trainee in the Care & Public Team at Ridley & Hall. In 2024, she was named Trainee Solicitor of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, recognising her commitment and achievements early in her career.
Maryam is police station accredited and has represented clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including grave crimes. She has a strong background in criminal law and is particularly interested in how this can overlap with care & public practice, giving her a broader perspective in her training.
She is currently preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQEs) as she works towards qualification. Alongside her role at the firm, Maryam runs a networking platform for women in law and business, aimed at creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and support.
In her spare time, Maryam enjoys arts and crafts.
