Sophia qualified as a solicitor in 2018, and she is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She specialises in commercial and residential property.

She acts for clients across the UK and overseas, and she has extensive knowledge in dealing with international sources of funds in respect of property matters.

She provides general commercial property advice, including land disposal and acquisition, commercial leases, funding security work on projects and residential development work. Her residential expertise includes all types of property matters with a particular focus on leasehold (including Building Safety Act transactions) and new build transactions.

Sophia provides her clients with thorough support when language could be a barrier; she believes that communication is the key, whether they prefer English or another language. She has a very personal approach to client care and is pragmatic in providing legal advice in a format tailored to the clients.

She lives in Huddersfield with her husband, their son, a grumpy Pekingese dog and an energetic Cocker Spaniel. She enjoys the scenery in the Dales and authentic oriental food.
