Natalie Stephenson-Quayle
Natalie started at Ridley & Hall in November 2019 as a care paralegal. In September 2020, Natalie integrated into the Public Law team as well, so now she works in both the Care and the Public Law teams which offers her the ability to help clients in need. This is something she has been interested in from a young age. Other areas of the law which interest Natalie include Human Rights, Immigration and Family Law, showing she wants to help vulnerable people.
Within both teams, Natalie enjoys the busy working environment, meeting clients and going to court. Before she joined Ridley & Hall, Natalie completed work experience with the firm, and this made her want to apply for the paralegal job after finishing college. Natalie is happy with the team she is based in and wants to further her career by becoming a solicitor with the help of Ridley & Hall.
In January 2021, Natalie will start her apprenticeship degree with Ridley & Hall. Whilst working with Ridley & Hall, Natalie wants to promote the different routes people can take to get into a career in law and to help prospective law students understand they don’t have to go to university to work within this industry. Natalie feels it is important that she helps people to understand this and thinks that people should have more awareness of the different opportunities they have.
Natalie has a keen interest for law which she studied at A-Level where she achieved the highest grade possible. Natalie also studied Geography and English Literature at A-Level which she found to be interesting and eye-opening. During her time at college, Natalie was a sports leader, achieving her Level 3 Sports Leader Qualification. She was selected to go to Malta in October 2018 to encourage young children and the disabled to ‘get involved’ in sport. In 2019, Natalie travelled to Thailand, Laos and Vietnam with World Challenge. This involved a 4-day trek in the jungle in Thailand, building a school for remote villagers in Laos, learning about the different cultures in all three countries, trying new food and much more. Natalie enjoyed her experience and would love to do more community-based work both in the UK and abroad in the future.
Outside of the work place, Natalie is a dedicated swimmer and takes part in her club’s competitions. As well, Natalie enjoys rock climbing both indoors and outdoors, to help her with this she attends the gym as part of her active lifestyle. Other than exercise, Natalie enjoys meeting up with friends and family, reading and travelling the world.
