Having qualified as a solicitor in 2002, Dax has spent most of his post-qualification career at firms across South Yorkshire, advising businesses and individuals on disputes ranging from high-value claims to small claims.

He regularly advises and supports clients on:

• commercial contract performance and interpretation;
• company and partnership disputes, including unfair prejudice claims and partnership dissolution;
• construction disputes;
• professional negligence claims, including claims against solicitors and surveyors;
• commercial property disputes, including lease forfeiture claims;
• constructive trust and TOLATA claims;
• rights of way and easements; and
• employment issues for businesses, including employee matters and drafting contracts and related documents.

Approachable and understanding, Dax is also pragmatic, commercially focused and robust in his advice where needed. He works closely with clients to achieve the best and most practical outcome.

Away from the office, Dax enjoys experimental cooking and reading about modern British history. He also follows Chesterfield FC, and can give no reasonable explanation for this.
