Marina joined our residential property team as a Property Paralegal to work alongside Alistair McKinlay at our South Elmsall office, dealing with sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.

Marina is a highly accomplished individual who has over 15 years professional cross-industry experience covering law, financial and business services.

She is a Brazilian National and moved to the UK in 2016. She is a qualified lawyer in Brazil, being registered with the Brazilian Bar Association of Rio de Janeiro Estate.

Settling in the UK was not an impediment for Marina continuing her desire to further develop her career in law. Although this was very challenging in the beginning, as a persistent, focused and driven individual those challenges have become fuel for Marina to achieve her goals.

Prior to joining Ridley & Hall, she worked for a local firm in one of the five towns where she started as a volunteer, providing support to the fee earners. During her volunteering role she attended the police station to observe interviews and criminal and family hearings at the Magistrate Courts. She soon progressed to become part of the team dealing with property transactions and probate files, conducting her own cases supervised by the Head of Conveyancing & Probate Department.  As Marina continues to gain experience in the law, she aims to develop her knowledge by undertaking further education in the UK .

Away from the office, Marina loves spending time with family and friends, enjoys reading, travelling, and learning new languages. If asked for advice, Marina would say “never give up on your dreams no matter how hard it gets
