Laura Sheriff Headshot

Laura Sheriff

Licensed Conveyancer
Department: Residential Property

Laura is a fully qualified Licensed Conveyancer with extensive experience across all areas of residential property law. Her career in the property industry began in 2014, and she qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2019. Since then, she has worked with a wide variety of clients, helping them navigate the legal aspects of buying, selling, and remortgaging their homes with confidence and clarity.

Over the years, Laura has developed a deep understanding of the conveyancing process and the many challenges clients can face during what is often one of the most significant transactions of their lives. She handles all types of residential conveyancing work, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Whether a transaction is straightforward or complex, she brings the same level of care, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best outcome for her clients.

What sets Laura apart is her proactive, friendly approach. She believes communication is key to a successful conveyancing experience and works hard to keep clients fully informed at every stage. Her aim is to provide clear, practical advice in plain English, helping to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Collaboration is also central to Laura’s work. She works closely with estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other professionals to ensure transactions progress efficiently and deadlines are met. Laura is also committed to ongoing professional development and stays up to date with legal and regulatory changes to provide accurate, timely advice.

What she enjoys most about her role is supporting people through important life milestones — whether they’re buying their first home, upsizing, downsizing, or investing. Every client’s situation is unique, and Laura takes pride in building trusted, long-term relationships that reflect their individual needs and goals.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her family. Whether it’s a day out, enjoying the outdoors, or simply relaxing at home, family life is incredibly important to her.
