
Louisa Wardle is a specialist in inheritance disputes, with expertise spanning:

With over 16 years of dedicated practice in this complex area of law, Louisa is a member of the Association of Contentious Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). She is committed to helping her clients achieve their objectives and, while fully prepared to litigate when necessary, she strives to resolve matters collaboratively to minimise costs and avoid unnecessary litigation.
Louisa has acted in several notable cases, including Suggitt v Suggitt [2012] WTLR 1607 and Suggitt v Suggitt & Anr [2012] EWCA Civ 1140, a successful proprietary estoppel claim concerning a farm in North Yorkshire. More recently, she acted in Ramji v Harvey & Ors [2023] EWHC 1664 (Ch), successfully overturning a lifetime transfer of property that had been procured through undue influence. She also secured an indemnity costs order against the claimants in Ramji v Harvey & Ors [2023] EWHC 1937 (Ch).
Outside of her legal practice, Louisa enjoys spending time with her young family and volunteers for Guide Dogs UK, fostering guide dogs in training.
