Jessica Nugent-Herrett
Jess completed a BA (Hons) in History in 2016, followed by a GDL conversion course in 2017. She then obtained her Legal Practice Certificate and an MSc in Business, Law & Management in 2018, and began working in the legal profession in the same year. In 2022, Jess commenced her training contract, working in Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, and Child Abuse departments. Jess qualified as a solicitor in August 2023.
Outside of work, Jess has a range of hobbies, including a love of gaming, all things culinary, reading, and comics. She volunteers annually at the Thought Bubble Sequential Art Festival in Harrogate. Previously, she was the president of the video games society at the University of Huddersfield and the Huddersfield Table-top roleplaying society. She also greatly enjoys martial arts and is currently studying Wing Chun.
