George Sellers is a Solicitor specialising in contentious probate at Ridley & Hall, having joined the firm in February 2026.
George works primarily alongside Louisa Wardle, Partner, within the Litigation team.
George advises clients on disputes relating to wills, estates and inheritance, including challenges to the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, and disputes between executors and beneficiaries. He recognises that contentious probate matters are often legally complex and emotionally sensitive, and he adopts a measured, practical and compassionate approach to guiding clients through the process.
He is committed to providing clear advice, realistic options and steady progress, ensuring clients feel supported and informed at every stage of their case.
George studied Economics and Politics at Newcastle University before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP University. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2024.
