Solicitor – Wills and Probate (Huddersfield, Barnsley, Leeds or Pontefract)
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload while contributing to a collaborative team culture. You will play an active role in maintaining excellent client relationships and supporting the firm’s wider growth ambitions.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of Private Client matters including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance tax matters
- Handling files efficiently with an appropriate level of autonomy
- Delivering a high standard of client care
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a one team approach
- Participating in marketing and business development activity, including building relationships within the local community
About you
We are looking for a Private Client Solicitor who is motivated, collaborative, and committed to delivering excellent service.
You will ideally have
- 4+ years PQE in Private Client work or relevant experience at a similar level
- Experience managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong technical knowledge or a desire to develop technical expertise further
- A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work as part of a team
- An interest in business development and contributing to the firm’s growth
