Tamara has been a qualified solicitor since 2009, initially specialising in criminal law. She is a qualified Police Station Representative and a Higher Courts Criminal Advocate, which allows her to represent clients from the police station through to the Crown Court. During her time as a criminal solicitor, she encountered cases that overlapped between the Family and Criminal Courts. Over the past four years, she has gradually transitioned from criminal law to private family law, now handling all aspects including divorce, financial settlements, child applications, and injunctions.
At Ridley & Hall, Tamara enjoys an excellent work-life balance and has recently begun a course in British Sign Language. Her goal is to become proficient enough in the coming years to represent members of the deaf community without the need for an interpreter.
Outside of work, Tamara enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She loves to cook and bake on weekends and uses her newly replaced Kindle to indulge in the latest crime novels.
