With over 14 years’ experience as a qualified Solicitor, Jolene is a trusted and approachable legal professional based in our Huddersfield office. She specialises in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Administration and Deputyship applications. Known for her friendly and down-to-earth manner, Jolene takes time to listen to her clients and provides clear, practical advice tailored to their individual needs.

Since qualifying in 2010, Jolene has dedicated her career to helping people plan for the future and guiding families through the legal processes that follow the loss or incapacity of a loved one. She understands that these matters can be deeply personal and emotional, and she takes pride in offering a calm and reassuring approach throughout.

Jolene works closely with clients to prepare Wills that accurately reflect their wishes and give peace of mind that everything is in place for the future. She also has extensive experience preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney, guiding clients through the process of appointing someone they trust to make decisions on their behalf if they are no longer able to do it themselves.

When it comes to applying for Probate and assisting clients with administering estates, Jolene’s clients appreciate her careful and efficient approach. She ensures that estates are dealt with correctly and as smoothly as possible, keeping clients fully informed at every stage. Jolene also assists with Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection, helping families gain the authority they need to look after the financial affairs of a loved one who lacks mental capacity.

Jolene’s clients comment on her ability to make complex legal matters easy to understand. Jolene believes that good communication is at the heart of her role, and she always aims to make the legal process straight-forward and stress-free. She values building lasting relationships based on trust, compassion, and respect.

Outside of the office, Jolene can be found spending time with her young daughter and out walking with her beloved cockapoo or enjoying a musical at the theatre or some live music.
