Commercial Property Secretary (Huddersfield)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Property Secretary to join our growing business, based in Huddersfield.
Your Role:
The prime role of a secretary is to adhere to agreed practice and procedures in relation to compliance and quality standards and provide cost effective support to the Fee Earners in the team and the work of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Corresponding with third parties and clients.
- Requesting Searches, AML (Anti Money Laundering) Checks and submitting Land Registry applications.
- Digital dictation (Bighand).
- Using a case management system.
- Prepare searched and Land Registry applications.
- Document management and creation.
- Handling telephone calls, enquiries and requests
- Dealing with incoming emails and post and replying to correspondence as appropriate.
Person specification – key skills/qualifications required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the ethos, values and strategy of the firm
- Keyboard skills essential
- Basic knowledge of legal letters
- Assimilation information from files and clients
- Extremely organised. Ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
- Work harmoniously within a target-driven team
