Nigel Priestley , Senior Partner at Ridley & Hall Solicitors has received the Highly Commended Award in the Solicitor Of the Year Category of the Law Society Excellence Awards 2008. In a prestigious ceremony at Old Billingsgate, London hosted by Kirsty Wark on Thursday 23rd October, Nigel Priestley received the award in recognition of his groundbreaking work in support of kinship carers.

Managing Partner Sarah Young who also attended the awards event commented ” This is a fantastic achievement when considering that this award is pinpointing individual solicitor excellence across the whole of England and Wales – however all of those people who work with Nigel or have benefitted from the exceptional work he has undertaken in support of carers will understand that this recognition is very well deserved.”
