Maaria completed her undergraduate Law Degree at the University of Leeds shortly before commencing her legal career with Ridley & Hall in September 2021.

Maaria has prior experience of shadowing solicitors in Conveyancing and Criminal Law departments and has participated in a mentoring scheme with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She aspires to undertake the newly introduced Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and to train as a solicitor. Her aspirations to become a solicitor arose from her participation in a series of Bar Mock Trials during her time in high school and sixth form.

During her time at university, Maaria participated in a Community Engagement programme called Street Law, which involved the research of various legal areas and the subsequent presentation of key information to local groups within the community. Maaria also worked as a Beauty Advisor for Space NK Apothecary stores, developing a flair for both great customer service and a busy work environment.

Outside of the workplace, Maaria enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Maaria has enjoyed volunteering with Huddersfield Support Group for Autism (HSGA) during their summer schemes.
