Kate joined the Family and Matrimonial Department at Ridley & Hall Solicitors in 2020.

Having graduated with a degree in Law from Northumbria University, Kate spent over 12 years working for Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service in Leeds, developing her legal knowledge and acumen within both their criminal and family law departments.

As a well-practised solicitor, Kate’s wealth of experience in Family Law is complemented by her personable and compassionate approach to clients. She works diligently and proficiently alongside families and individuals to resolve a wide range of private family and matrimonial issues.

Outside of work Kate is a busy mum to three young children. She is an avid cook, loves countryside walks and regularly practises yoga. Kate also volunteers as Chair of Governors at Badsworth Church of England Junior & Infant School, supporting the school to ensure that all children receive the education they deserve.
