Yasmin achieved a First Class Law Degree at Leeds Beckett University in 2019 and a Distinction in the Masters of Law in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in 2021. Upon completing her Law Degree, Yasmin was awarded the Leeds Law School Prize for the Best Overall Performance on the LLB Course for 2019 as she achieved the highest overall assessment scores on her course that year. Also, Yasmin was presented with the Stowe Family Law Prize for Child Law on the LLB for achieving the highest assessment score on the Child Law module.
Yasmin initially joined our Residential Property team in the South Elmsall office as a Conveyancing Assistant in September 2019 to gain first hand legal experience whilst undertaking her Masters Qualification. Yasmin soon became an integral member of the team and her enthusiasm to provide a personal and high-quality service to clients flourished. Yasmin then progressed into a Paralegal role within the Residential Property team and was then successful in being awarded a Training Contract which commenced in July 2021. Yasmin is due to qualify as a Solicitor in July 2023.
Away from the office, Yasmin is an avid musical theatre lover and can often be found frequenting theatres up and down the country enjoying a performance or two with her family! Yasmin has been a member of her local dance school since she was small and still participates in regular performances in Ballet, Tap and Modern dance. Yasmin also enjoys socialising with her friends and family, is a huge Harry Potter fan and loves getting stuck into a good book!
