Shad joined Ridley and Hall in 2016 to work alongside Adam Fletcher (Director) and Ashley Sowerby (Associate) in the residential property department and was mentored by both of them during his training.

Since qualification Shad has joined the Huddersfield Residential Property team to work with Susan Sowden (Solicitor).

Shad specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing, ranging from assisting first time buyers secure their first property, helping investors grow their property portfolio or assisting separating couples in transferring ownership of the property which can be a difficult time.

Shad is a Committee Member of the Huddersfield and Dewsbury Incorporated Law Society, and takes part in the Leeds based University of Law Mentoring programme, and University of Huddersfield Mentoring Programme.

Shad has obtained a 1st class degree in Law and a Commendation in the Masters of Law and Practice at the University of Huddersfield. He was also involved in the University of Huddersfield’s award winning Legal Advice Clinic as a Student Advisor during his studies.

Away from the office Shad enjoys travelling, playing sports and meeting with friends.
